The main objective of the Avviso Project is to digitize, preserve, catalog, edit, contextualize and disseminate the 35,000 early modern manuscript newsletters, known as avvisi, which were part of the Medici collection and are now housed at the State Archive in Florence. The cataloging, digitization, and dissemination of approximately 35,000 avvisi, which were early modern manuscript newsletters, via the Medici Archive Project’s Medici Interactive Archive platform.
